Future Husbands of the Week: These Guys!!
For those of you who haven't seen the undeniable beauty in the Koranic phrase "and beat them", it's time for you to get school'd. You see, rather than viewing the Koran as a spiritual document, it is more useful to conceive of it as a manual on life and, more importantly, on how to deal with "wives". As a microwave manual tells us not to put anything metal in it, untold dangers await men who do not heed the Koran's advice regarding the treatment of wives. Rods are best.
Mmm... nothing makes me feel the masculinity and power of my husband than getting a good beating. In fact, I crave it. What's with these rules, though? No bruising or bleeding? What kinds of beatings ARE these guys giving then? A slap? A little pinch, perhaps? Pussies.

um, i don't think that the women want to feel masculine... I think they crave that sense of masculinity from their husbands. So you see, in that case, he's right!
Also, can we go over those 3 types of women again? I feel they're quite different and well defined as such.
Check out this debate from a Qatar TV show. It's nice to see some feisty females get in there (and no, not in defense of wife beating, though I'm sure flog-happy women exist).
If you really think about it, most of what this guy says about women 'asking for it' has been used plenty by abusive non-Muslim men.
Also, we were made from a crooked rib. So there's that...
I don't know, Lady N.: would you define yourself as the condescending type or the twisted type? A little bit of both, perhaps. In any case, a little beating with a toothbrush ought to teach you some sense...
